Benjamin's wooden support beams and structures in his crawl space were starting to warp. He made the right call when he chose Ayers for our crawl space repair expertise. Our System Design Specialists determined from an inspection of the area that CleanSpace and SmartJacks. CleanSpace is a durable plastic liner installed along the floor and wall of the crawl space. This waterproof liner is made with a vapor barrier that prevents mold or bacteria growth. Next, the SmartJacks were installed for foundation support. This repair system is installed by attaching steel support beams to the floor joists and a sturdy base placed in the floor. Once the posts are installed, they get adjusted to raise the floors to a level position once again. Benjamin's crawl space has now been completely transformed with permanent solutions!

As seasons progressed and the temperature constantly changed, Denice began to notice problems arising in his home. The area under his house seemed very humid and wet, thus, he contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems. Our team inspected his home and determined CleanSpace would be perfect. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner that creates a moisture barrier stopping any water from entering Denice's crawl space!

Tom was looking to get some insulation added to his crawl space where cold air was making its way in through little cracks. He noticed Ayers sold rim joist insulation for crawl spaces so he gave us a call and we set up an appointment for him.

With this insulation, it will seal off the crawl space in the places where cold air was seeping in through small cracks in the concrete. This will reduce Tom's heating bill in the long run. The rim joists were insulated as well since small cracks and seams can pop up around these rim joists in crawl spaces. Outside air flow is now cut off from seeping in and will keep unwanted moisture and allergens out.
