A homeowner in Bedford, New Hampshire, had purchased their home a couple of months ago. Since moving in they have noticed cracking in their garage and wanted someone with experience to look at them. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our Design Specialist recommended installing Geolocks to the foundation wall in their garage and repairing a crack in the foundation wall.

A home in Bedford, New Hampshire, had a foundation wall that was bowing inward. The homeowners called EFS for a free inspection of their home. In Center Harbor, NH, a homeowner was facing long, horizontal cracks and a dangerously bowing foundation in their garage. These are red flags indicating compromised structural integrity. As shown in the before photo, the potential for further damage loomed over the property's value and safety. To remedy this, we installed the GeoLock Wall Anchor System® beneath the garage floor, combatting the bowing effectively. Exterior plates secure these anchors firmly. Our team then applied NexusPro® Joint Sealant to the existing cracks, safeguarding against moisture intrusion. Notice in the after photo how the structure appears stable and secure.

Greg B. of Marlboro, Massachusetts was experiencing settling on the backside of their house. Behind the home is a retaining wall that is holding the soil that is holding the home in place. Greg thinks the settling in the backyard is causing cracking in his garage. He called Erickson Foundation Solutions to see if they could send someone out to inspect his home. 

Design Specialist John Prince came to Greg's home and inspected the garage and the backyard. He confirmed Greg's suspicions of settlement in the backyard. John proposed to stop the settlement they install Push Piers in the back of the home and then after those are installed they seal the cracks, PolyLEVEL, and Resurface the whole garage. 

Crew Lead Chris Hanlek and his team came to the home and installed the PolyLEVEL, Crack Seal, and Resurface. 

In Marlborough, MA, this new home's building process hit a snag when the homeowner noticed the cinderblocks supporting the supplemental beam in the crawl space just weren't going to cut it.
