In Bedford, MA, a homeowner faced the challenge of sloping floors due to .75 inches of foundation settlement, delaying their plans for new porch flooring. As shown in the before photo, this instability threatened both the property's integrity and future upgrades. Our team at Erickson Foundation Solutions effectively stabilized and raised the home's foundation using three helical piers. The existing concrete pillars supporting this home's bump-out addition were sinking and leaning more and more over the years. The bump-out required more stable supports, and so EZ Posts were installed to replace the pillars.

A homeowner in Billerica, Massachusetts, had lived in their home for almost 20 years and this year they started to notice some cracks in their foundation wall. Recently they installed a new oil tank and started to notice cracking after the tank was installed. Their home was built in the 1950s and this is the first issue they have seen with the foundation. This homeowner in Billerica, Massachusetts, purchased their home in the late 1980s and built a large addition in 2007. About 15 years after building the extension the homeowner noticed the doors and window become tight and difficult to open. They called EFS for a free inspection of the foundation.
