A homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, had tested their home for radon twice after living in their home for the past couple of years. The results of the test showed two different numbers. The second test shows a significantly higher number than the first which has sparked the homeowners to try and find someone to install a radon mitigation system. The homeowners called EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist created a custom radon system for their home. 

Our installation team installed the radon mitigation system into the home and reduced the radon levels in the home to a safe level. 

A resident of Nashua, NH recently conducted a radon gas test in their home and discovered a concentration of 4 pCi/L, which aligns with the threshold established by the Environmental Protection Agency for the installation of a radon mitigation system. Radon is a hazardous gas that cannot be detected by human senses, thereby increasing its risk. This gas originates from the soil beneath a home's foundation and has the potential to infiltrate the basement and other areas of the residence. Given that the homeowner frequently occupies the basement, this finding was particularly alarming. Consequently, they contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions to seek a lasting resolution. After a successful installation, the home is now safe from radon gas. The homeowner can now enjoy the basement space, as well as the rest of the home, with peace of mind.

A new homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, had just moved into their home. During the purchasing process, the inspector tested for radon and found that the radon levels were around 20 pCi/L. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free radon inspection. Our Design Specialist James designed a radon system for the home and our crew came a couple of weeks later to install the system into the home. 

This homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, had purchased this home in May 2023. Their son has a room in the basement and spends a lot of time down there. The homeowners did some research on the effect of being exposed to radon for a long period of time. After learning about the potential hazards of radon the homeowner called EFS for a free inspection of their home. Our Design Specialist Josh met with the homeowner and dropped off a radon test kit. The results came back with an average of 11.4 pCi/L and Josh recommended installing a radon mitigation system and dehumidifier into the basement to lower the moisture and radon levels inside the basement.
