A homeowner contacted our office seeking a permanent solution to a water problem in their crawl space. Water seepage was causing multiple issues, and their existing sump system was not functioning effectively. We replaced it with our high-performance SmartSump Pump System, designed to handle water intrusion efficiently. This Hilton Head Island, SC homeowner contacted Lowcountry Foundation Repair to receive a free estimate on some flood vents for his crawl space. His home is close to the coast, and he wants to make sure his foundation can survive flooding stormwater. He scheduled an appointment with one of our trusted inspectors. 

Our inspector, Brian Hunter, suggested that he install Smart Vents around the outside of his crawl space. Smart Vents are engineered flood vents that protect houses and buildings during floods by preventing water pressure buildup that can destroy walls and foundations. 

After one day of installation, the Smart Vents were installed and the homeowner was very happy with the outcome! 

This home had a sump pump that would constantly clog with sand, causing water to overflow. Our team evaluated the issue and installed a waterproofing system, complete with a vapor barrier & sump pump. With our clog-free sump pump installed, the water can now properly drain.

To remove and pump water out of this customer's crawl space, we installed the SmartSump Pump System. This system is capable of pumping water out of the crawl space quickly and efficiently. It is also designed with an alarm that will alert the customer if the water level in the crawl space rises. This system will help to keep the crawl space dry and prevent further damage.
