This homeowner in Hardwick, MN had noticeable cracks and buckling occur in their basement block foundation wall and needed a solution to repair and prevent their wall from completely collapsing. They quickly gave Complete Basement Systems a call to solve the problem.

Our System Design Specialist quickly came to evaluate the situation.  It was concluded that besides a clear foundation concern, but also past water intrusion was evident once a complete evaluation was done at the home. 

WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the home to collect any ground water seepage along with our CleanSpace Wall System to protect the walls from water intrusion that will also leave any future finished walls protected permanently.  Our PowerBrace Wall Support System was installed to stabilize the foundation wall from further movement.  With minor maintenance of tightening the brackets, their foundation wall could move in place, but will forever prevent the wall from any further buckling. 

The owner of this home wanted to use it as a rental property, but wanted to make sure it was dry and safe for any renters. There was obvious intrusion through the block walls that needed to be addressed by our Design Specialist. 

After discussing the project, it was decided that we would install our full waterproofing system. This consists of the WaterGuard drain tile system, the CleanSpace Wall System, a TripleSafe and SuperSump Plus as well as our Lawnscape Discharge Line System with IceGuard.

With these products, the owner, as well as any future renters, can rest assured there will be no further water issues in this basement. Having this peace of mind means a lot to the owner.

Our customers in Magnolia, MN Gary & Jean H. always had some water intrusion in their basement, not a lot, but enough for them not to comfortably be able to use the basement like they should be able to.

They had an existing tile system installed on the interior wall years ago but was unable to handle all of the water coming in.  As you can see on the before photo the wall stains on the white block wall.  This is a sign that water or moisture has built up inside the blocks and is causing mold to appear.

Now, the basement is safe, stable, and ready to be used again, with peace of mind that the foundation is protected for the future.
