Not all crawlspaces are picture-perfect, but this transformation is worth a look! This homeowner’s crawlspace was musty, pest-ridden, and energy-inefficient—until our expert encapsulation process changed everything. Now, it's clean, dry, and energy smart. See the difference for yourself!
In this Arden Hills, MN project, we installed a full CleanSpace Encapsulation System to address chronic moisture issues. The solution included a heavy-duty CleanSpace vapor barrier across the floor and walls, sealed seams, and airtight vent covers to isolate the crawlspace from outside air and groundwater vapor. This system not only improves energy efficiency and air quality but also protects structural components from long-term moisture damage.
Here's a great example of just how bright and clean our CleanSpace Crawlspace Encapsulation can look. Just image the amount of storage space this family will have now without the worry of dampness or mold!
A homeowner in Rochester was dealing with a crawlspace that had clearly been showing its age for decades. Built in 1900, the home’s crawlspace was far from typical. The homeowner had started noticing sagging floors on the main level, along with a strong musty odor coming from below the house. When our System Design Specialist arrived to inspect the situation, it quickly became clear this would be a challenging project. The crawlspace had multiple small “rooms,” extremely tight areas, and other sections with as much as 5' of clearance, making repairs very difficult. Moisture, failing support beams, and poor air quality were all contributing to the home's ongoing problems.
Despite the difficult layout, our team developed a customized solution that allowed us to restore the crawlspace without the need for major demolition. We installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system throughout the accessible areas to help seal out moisture, pests, and cold air that were affecting the home above. We also reinforced the failing support beams to help stabilize the sagging floors and improve the structural integrity of the home. The transformation not only improved the condition of the crawlspace itself but also helped create a healthier, cleaner, and more comfortable living environment throughout the main floor of the home.
This homeowner from Fairmont, MN stopped by our office one day to discuss replacing a window well at their home. Without much explanation, we knew exactly what was going on. Wood was commonly used as the structure for window wells. As time goes on, the wood will start to rot or warp due to the elements. This homeowner was using 2x4s to support his well and knew a collapse was imminent.
Our Design Specialist gave the homeowner information about our RockWell Window Well. This well is a solid, one-piece design that will not collapse from backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. They're UV stable, rust and rot proof, and stand up to extreme temperatures (like those in Minnesota!) They also have a polycarbonate cover that keeps leaves and debris out while allowing light in.
