The humidity and condensation had been building up in this crawl space for a while, it eventually got worse enough to cause a noticeable effect on the floors above. They warped and buckled, created tripping hazards in some areas, and dangerous soft spots in others. To combat this and prevent things from getting even worse, we sent out one of our System Design Specialists to go take a look and put together a plan for installing our ultimate moisture-proofing solution, our Encapsulation System. This is the option they decided to go with, allowing us to make a major change for the underside of this home. Our durable CleanSpace Liner, TripleSafe Sump Pump system, and crawl space dehumidifier are now under the home, protecting against moisture in all its different forms. Great job team!

This home was experiencing buckling floors due to moisture issues. Our team was able to install a sump pump to remove and divert the water flow. We also encapsulated under the home to keep the crawl space clean and dry and installed a dehumidifier to maintain moisture-free airflow. A sealed and dry crawl space is the secret to maintaining an energy efficient and healthy home. 

This home in Brookhaven had plastic sheeting down, causing more harm than good. It was trapping moisture in the crawlspace allowing mold and plant life to grow. It also contained an open ventilation system that was continually bringing in more air, filled with condensation, further aggravating the issues.
