When we installed a full perimeter interior waterproofing system for this wet basement in Dayton, Ohio, we used our TripleSafe for the sump pump system. The TripleSafe is our most secure pump system, as it comes with three different pumps, including a battery backed one. If the primary pump becomes overwhelmed, then the second pump will kick on. If the second pump becomes overwhelmed, then the third pump will help kick in. If the power goes out in the home, then the battery backup system will kick on. There's no better pump system than the TripleSafe!

In the after picture seen here, you can see two of our best products working in tandem to keep this basement dry. The white CleanSpace walls and our WaterGuard subfloor drains, (concealed beneath the fresh concrete) work together to drain water that may infiltrate from the floor and up above on the walls. These two systems are tied together and work as one to help lead the water down towards the sump pump system we also installed. Our CleanSpace walls also help conceal stained walls and must!

In the "before" photo, you can see how this homeowner in Tipp City, Ohio, had resorted to stacking storage bins and belongings off the ground in a damp, unfinished corner of the basement. Water seepage had made the space unreliable for storage and unusable for anything more.

We solved the issue by installing our WaterGuard® subfloor drainage system, which now captures any incoming water before it can reach the basement floor. We also added a TripleSafe® sump pump, offering triple protection and a battery backup in case of power outages. To brighten the space and protect the walls, we finished it off with CleanSpace® wall panels, which direct wall moisture down into the WaterGuard system while giving the basement a clean, dry look.

Now that this corner is permanently protected from water, the homeowner is finally free to finish the space and build proper shelving — turning what was once just a damp storage area into a usable, functional part of the home.

This wet basement in Batavia, Ohio needed a proper repair system to ensure it can withstand a long and healthy life.
