Foundation Repair Contractor in Ft Mitchell, Kentucky

This chimney in Ft Mitchell, KY, was starting to tilt away from the home, leaving the sealant between the chimney and the home compromised. If left unattended, the chimney could become damaged beyond repair. Luckily, the homeowner gave us a call so we could fix it with our peer underpinning system right away. Now, the chimney is stabilized and lifted back to where it was originally built. The homeowner can now seal the chimney for good.

Foundation Repair in Ft Mitchell, Kentucky

This home in Ft Mitchell, KY, had a settling foundation, which was causing the home's brick exterior to crack. As you can see from the before picture, the biggest crack in the home started from the bottom right corner of the window, and in a stair-like pattern, expanded all the way down to the bottom right corner of the brick wall. The homeowner also noted that the window was shut tight as a result of the settling. This problem is super common for settling homes, mainly because windows and doors are often times the weakest part in the wall, causing them to be the first to show signs of settlement. This is also why the crack had spread in a stair-step like pattern, as the mortar between the brick is also the structurally weakest point in a wall. We ended up underpinning the foundation with our helical piers, which allowed us to lift the foundation back up. This process helped close the cracks, and it even made the window useable again. The homeowner was very happy with the outcome.

Lintel Repair Company in Cincinnati, OH

This garage lintel in Cincinnati, OH, was drooping before we lifted and stabilized it with a lintel repair. A garage lintel, (the top of the garage opening) can start to droop downwards over time, causing the lintel to look like a slight grin. We lifted the lintel by installing steel beams along the inside of both walls in the opening of the garage face. We then ran a steel beam across both jacks to distribute the load. After jacking the lintel back to plum, we then covered the steel beams with a fresh trim. This trim completely concealed the steel beams. The homeowner was very happy with the outcome, and was super impressed with our crews ability to work around the garage number pad on the right side.
