In Yellow Springs, Ohio, a failed exterior waterproofing system left this homeowner's basement in need of serious attention. This homeowner had stained walls and floors from water intrusions in their basement. They called us to fix the problem, so we drew up a solution. Water was seeping in through the cellar hatch every time it rained, creating puddles and putting stress on the old sump pump system. We installed a trench drain in front of the hatch to catch and redirect surface water before it entered the cellar, then replaced the outdated pump with our TripleSafe sump pump for reliable year-round protection.
