It's going to require lots of messing around and potential alterations due to condition of barn structure. In the end, it'll still be an old barn. After scheduling an appointment with TerraFirma, an inspector had a look at my foundation to check for settlement issues. We had cracks in the dry wall and around the doors. We have recently purchased this home and are planning on it being our "two year project". We were sliding down a slippery slope. The house wasn't built on the most solid of foundation, and we have started noticing more and more windows not opening, uneven doors and cracks in the wall around joints.
