Ryan K. recently moved into his home in Robbinsdale, MN and had concerns about potential mold problems in the crawl space. Looking through our website, seeing the encapsulation systems we install is exactly what he was looking for, a more finished look. 

The scope of work involved installing a vapor barrier called CleanSpace which is a crawl space encapsulation system that is used to isolate the home from the earth completely and permanently.  It is blue on on one side and white on the other.  

As far as our customers concern with mold, the CleanSpace liner is manufactured with an antimicrobial additive called UltraFresh that is molded right into the material.

This Minneapolis, MN crawl space had current exposed dirt floor in a rental property and was seeking a cost effective solution.  

Our system design specialist, Ryan Brenner, quickly came to evaluate the situation.  He concluded that the crawl space would need CleanSpace Liner along with CleanSpace Drainage Matting.  With a plan set, Ben Heldt and his crew began the installation process for this homeowner.

CleanSpace Drainage Matting was installed on the dirt floor and CleanSpace Liner was installed on top of the matting.  This is now a clean brighter crawl space for this Minneapolis homeowner and can comfortably crawl around and make use of this space storing personal items along with adding value to the home. 

When a homeowner in Minneapolis, MN reached out to us, their older home was showing some familiar signs of crawl space trouble, such as musty odors, chilly floors in the winter, and an overall sense of inefficiency in the home’s comfort. Like many older properties in the Twin Cities, this home lacked a proper moisture barrier beneath it, and the crawl space had become a hidden source of problems.

We installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system to completely seal the crawl space from the earth and outside air. This durable, reinforced liner was applied across the crawl space floor and walls, creating a bright, clean, and moisture-resistant barrier. The transformation was immediate; the space was now dry, sealed, and no longer a liability under the home.

The crawlspace was damp, musty, and unprotected from moisture, leading to potential mold and poor air quality. The old, tattered insulation was inefficient and left the floors above cold. Exposed dirt and unsealed vents allowed humidity and pests to enter freely, creating an unhealthy environment beneath the home.

With full encapsulation using our CleanSpace System, the crawlspace is now clean, dry, and well-protected. Our heavy-duty vapor barrier seals the ground and walls, preventing moisture intrusion. The transformation improves indoor air quality, enhances energy efficiency, and safeguards the home's foundation for years to come.
